About

Why YaraLoop Exists

Loneliness is one of the defining public health challenges of our time. The WHO has declared it a global priority. The data is alarming, but scattered across academic journals, government reports, and buried in news cycles.

YaraLoop exists to make this research accessible. We synthesize findings from psychology, neuroscience, and sociology into clear, actionable insights about how humans form connections and why so many are struggling to do so.

This is a research initiative by YaraCircle, a platform built on the science of friendship formation. The research we cover here directly informs how YaraCircle is designed.
